Tips For Budding Computer Geeks

Rays of Wisdom Tips For Budding Computer Geeks

Down to Earth now, hopefully not with a bump! If you wish to benefit as much as possible from what is before you, I recommend that you download and print out whatever is to your liking.. Later, when you have closed down your computer, you may enjoy taking time out to re-read what you have found and to contemplate on it in the peace and quiet of your inner sanctuary. Seek the help of your inner guide and the Angels to show you whether any of it is meant to be for you.

To facilitate reading any of my writings online I am currently in the process of adding an extra line after each paragraph. However, it seems to me that many have difficulties with reading large blocks of written material online. If that is the case with you, here are a few tips. Any internet items that to me are worthy of keeping, I copy and paste in Word documents. I then save them to file and print them. When my computer has been turned off, I go to my peaceful and quiet spot, my nurturing space, maybe with a nice cup of tea and start reading. In that way I invariably get a great deal more of out things than would otherwise be possible for me.

Last but by no means least I would now like to share with you a few of the things one of my geeks taught me, when I first ventured onto the Internet, by now more than seven years ago. For those who are as yet inexperienced with computers, here are a few simple tips that are sure to make finding your way round the web much easier:

Finding Something - Made Easy

1. The quickest and easiest way of locating something on any website is by looking for a search box. This site has one, but if you cannot find one, proceed as follows:
2. Hold down Control key + type F – enter
3. Type name or word you are looking for into box
4. Click: ‘find’.

Copying And Pasting Made Simple

1. Open a new file in your word processing program.
2. Go to the website from which you wish to copy something.
3. Either find the item you are interested in with the help of the above mentioned search box.
4. Or highlight the whole file by using your keyboard and pressing Control key + A – enter.
5. Alternatively, copy parts of the file by placing the cursor on the beginning of the text you have in mind. Keeping your finger on the left hand click of the mouse, drag the cursor diagonally across the text until you reach the end of the part you are interested in; this highlights it.
6. An easier way still – better for beginners: place the cursor on the first word you wish to copy. Press the shift key and keep your finger on it. Press the Page Down key as many times as necessary until you reach the last word of the text in question; this highlights the whole block. Still keeping your finger on the shift key, place cursor behind the full stop of the last sentence. Only then let go of the shift key. The highlighted text should now be before you.
7. Press Control key + C = copy command – enter.
8. Go to word processing: press Control key + V = paste command – enter.
9. By the way, Control key + N – enter can also open any number of new files for you at that stage.
10. Control key + S = save command – enter.
11. Give file a location and name.
12. Print.
13. Hey presto! Done!
14. Sit down and enjoy.

Rays of Wisdom - New Releases

In the course of the six years of its existence the old Rays of Wisdom had dynamically expanded so much that the new Rays of Wisdom became a necessity. As ever more fresh insights have always constantly been  flowing into the existing material, new releases continue to appear regularly. They are announced by e-mail and if you would like to join my mailing list and the circle of spiritual family, you can find a link on the contact page for getting in touch with me.

A typical response to one of my releases received a few days ago read: ‘I soooooo love your e-mails;  don’t let anything stop you from sending them. They bring so much love and light into my life. Blessings.’ J.G. My reply was: ‘Thank you, dearest Friend, for as long as I am capable of doing so, I will continue to hold my insights down in ‘The Random Jottings of a Stargazer’, publish them on Rays of Wisdom and inform you about new sections and updates by e-mail, as soon as they become available.

As spiritual knowledge is a living organism that will forever continue to grow and evolve, new, original and exciting dishes are constantly in preparation and being served in the form of updates and additional chapters, for you to be enjoyed and fed to others with your own long-handled spoon. How about supplying them with some links, so they too can partake as much as they wish of the feast we have prepared for you with the help of Aquarius?

‘It is through generously distributing your finds and nurturing others that you yourself will never fail to be fed and sustained by us and ultimately the Life Force itself. The more you manifest your Christ nature and conduct a life that is filled with love for everything that shares it with you, you will soon see for yourself how every one of your needs are constantly met and that frequently before you have become aware of them yourself. If that isn’t everybody’s idea of Heaven on Earth, please tell us [the Angels] what is?’

Freely, freely you have received.
Freely, freely now give.
Go in our name, and because you believe,
Others will believe in us, too.
