Someone Special
So many of the things we feel
In our hearts and souls today,
Are there because someone special
Cared for us along the way.
A person who believed in us,
When our faith was running low,
Whose gentle words of wisdom
Helped us decide which way to go.
Someone who could make us laugh
When we were near to tears,
Whose memories still make us smile,
Across the miles and through the years.
Someone who’s done more for us
Than they will ever realise
And who will forever be
An angelic being in our eyes.
