The Power Of God
Astrology has been an integral part of many cultures and civilisations for thousands of years. Maybe that is why to this day many seem to be under the impression that it is some kind of a belief system. In truth, it is nothing as passing and temporary as any of the religions that our world has ever seen. As the evolution of our race has progressed through the ages, it has been and will always be inherent in the nature of religions and belief systems that they must come and gone in our world and that in the fullness of time each one of them has to pass from it again. This is for the simple reason that the law of evolution decrees that whatever has outlived its usefulness in the Great Plan of life has to be destroyed and removed from God’s Creation.
There is no point in unduly clinging onto the old, because whole worlds, societies and civilisations are all doomed eventually and in the fullness of time must vanish, one way or another. That is why Atlantis was destroyed and the Babylonian, Egyptian and Roman civilisations, to name but a few, faded away. Many others must have done so without leaving us any traces of their existence. The disappearance of any civilisation, irrespective of how it may come about, invariably represents important lessons for the collective consciousness of our world.
Yes, the sinking of Atlantis was caused by the abuse of power by human beings, but that is only half the story. Any experiences of such magnitude are invariably intended to teach our race some invaluable lessons. The resulting learning is stored for all times in the memories of every individual soul that takes part in them, as well as in the soul of our world and that of the whole of Creation.
We, the human race, do well never to forget that nothing can happen outside the will of God and that nothing is ever destroyed without it. The masculine aspect of the Divine, the God, alone has absolute power and His will overrides everything, and so does His mercy. No matter how badly anyone attempts to abuse earthly power, let no-one run away with the idea that anything can be destroyed without the help and the will of God. The Great Architect of life holds the reigns of his Creation safely and firmly in His loving hands.
One of the most important things we are here to learn is the wise use of power. Occasionally being at the giving and the receiving end of its abuse is a vital part of every soul’s lessons. However, that does not mean that anyone ever gets away with murder. No-one does! Every one of our thoughts, words and actions are registered and recorded somewhere and all evil deeds and wrongdoings must be made good eventually by the perpetrators. This principle applies on all levels of life and especially to the religions of our world. None of them has been intended to be with us forever, and none of the teachings of any one of the sacred texts was meant to be treated as if they were set in concrete or chiselled into stone for all eternity. Spiritual wisdom and knowledge is a living organism that grows and evolves, the same as everything else in the whole of Creation, including us and our world.
Each time our race was ready to receive more Divine wisdom and truth directly from the Source of our being, new religions appeared at certain predestined times. It is the fate of each one of them that, when it has served humankind sufficiently, it has outlived its usefulness. It is then removed and replaced by something that is more in keeping with humankind’s present evolutionary level. To qualify being called good belief systems, they have to provide human souls with a staff for leaning on. Lifetime after lifetime, during various parts of each one of our earthly sojourns they need to act as ladders that invite and encourage us to climb and aspire to become better human beings and ultimately back home into the realisation of our true nature, origin and destiny. To my mind, only those that lovingly support us in these endeavours are worthy of carrying the name religions.
Finally, every soul is guided into the awareness that no-one can really teach us anything because in the depths of our own being, through our inner connection with God, each one of us contains the knowledge of the whole of Creation. On our return into the blessed state of being fully conscious of its Oneness with God, we are all presented with sufficient opportunities for learning, each from their own experiences, that the answers to all our questions truly are known within. This is the only place in the whole wide world where they will always be answered truthfully and consistent with the degree of spiritual comprehension the questioner has reached at that particular time.
